In addition to monitors, the Meet Rack needs volunteers to help us set up and tear down the space. It is a quick transition between the end of classes and the beginning of the party, there is a lot to do, and we need all the extra help we can get!
There is no need to register, just show up and we'll add you to the chaos!
When do you need me?
- Setup: Saturday evening 6:00–7:00 PM
- Teardown: from 10:30 PM until the space is clear
You are welcome to help with setup, teardown, or both. Even one of the two is a real help.
What does the crew actually do?
- Hang rope loops and attachment points from the overhead structures
- Move and place furniture, equipment, and the safety tables
- Set out gloves, hand sanitizer, cups, cards, and pens
- Put up signage, garbage bags, caution tape
- Mark off and lay out the Rack and the separate Locker space
- At the end of the night, take it all down, sort it, and return it
People who:
- are Riggers who can help put up the inter-truss rope lines
- Will feel comfortable climbing/standing on chairs to hang loops things
- Can move play furniture and equipment
- Just want to help
